Cavaliers
Ladies favourites in Tudor Courts, they are direct descendants of the toy spaniels featured in 16th and 17th century paintings. Their Royal title King Charles Spaniels was given to them by the Stuarts, in 1928 the name Cavalier was added separating them from the short nosed King Charles.
